Bella Vita Custom Homes allows customers to live the “beautiful life” throughout Texas.
SOPHISTICATION IN CONSTRUCTION sets Texas-based Bella Vita Custom Homes apart. Founded in 2009 by four entrepreneurial construction visionaries, the goal of the company was to build custom homes that “reflect the owner’s status and embrace their values.” After completing the Preston Hollow Model Home in 2011, the company saw an increase of more than 350 percent.
The success allowed Bella Vita to expand into central Texas. As part of the expansion, the company opened offices in Dallas and Austin.
Bella Vita’s growth was sustained through 2013, and the size of the business doubled once again. To date, the luxury custom homebuilder employs a multifaceted team of 60 people. Since its beginnings, Bella Vita Custom Homes has maintained a reputation of integrity, honesty and superb quality, which separates Bella Vita from other companies. It takes anywhere from eight to 12 months to build a home from concept to finish.
“We hold the companywide mission to under-promise and over-deliver to our customers,” CEO Andy Clem says. “Clear communication paired with exact construction deliverables has earned us unmatched respect in the marketplace. With our masterful, open areas for entertaining, legendary libraries and brilliant owner’s retreats, we understand what it means to luxuriate in a perfectly designed and crafted home.”
From garages with enough bays to house all the family vehicles and two-story libraries that include wrap-around balconies, Bella Vita has quite the repertoire of luxury features it designs into homes. The functionality and design of the kitchens makes sure there is a place for everything, utilizing all of the space.
Some of the features include cabinets with circular shelving to utilize dead space, cutting boards located above pull-out trash containers and pull knife racks.
“Seemingly every need has been anticipated and creatively provided for,” Clem says. “Our gourmet kitchens, in fact, could serve as a metaphor for the whole Bella Vita experience: brilliance, creativity and luxury harnessed in the service of sophisticated living.”
Listening to a customer sharing their vision for their dream home is Clem’s favorite “I am a person of place. I think people identify with their surroundings – they influence one’s outlook, energy and train of thought.” Clem says. “There is an art and science to building, and a masterful design must have both. For me, a successful project isn’t only limited to happy customers – It also includes the contribution our company makes to the wider community. Whether we’re building a French Traditional, Mediterranean, or Hill Country contemporary- style home, we must ask ourselves, ‘Is this a design that we’re truly proud of, and is it beautiful from the inside and out?’”
Clem describes the style as “Old World elegance meets American energy.” Bella Vita’s most recognizable work is its French provincial, rustic Italian, Spanish Hacienda and Hill Country modern-style homes.
“We have architects, interior designers, estimators and purchasers, sales associates and construction managers; we don’t have just one person running a job – we have a team,” Clem asserts. “With Bella Vita’s dedicated team working to guide customers through the process of attaining their custom home, customers are able to concentrate on the actual design elements they wish to incorporate, ensuring their home reflects their exact specifications.”
Recently the company unveiled three of their newest model homes in Dallas-Fort Worth and central Texas.
